Review an AI-generated website before you publish it

By NexoraWeb AI · Updated 15 October 2026

An AI-generated website is a starting point for review. A convincing preview can still contain broken links, inaccessible controls or code that is unsuitable for production. NexoraWeb's AI Web Builder produces HTML, CSS and JavaScript from a prompt and lets you inspect the result in a sandboxed preview. Your review determines whether that result is ready for its intended use.

Write a brief that can be checked

Describe the audience, page purpose, essential sections and required interactions. For example, a workshop landing page might need a date, venue description, agenda, accessible registration link and cancellation information. State which information you actually have. Ask for placeholders to be clearly marked when a fact is missing instead of allowing invented testimonials, customer numbers or credentials.

Separate visual preferences from functional requirements. “Dark navy with blue accents” describes appearance. “Keyboard users can open and close the menu” describes behavior. Both can be tested, but one does not imply the other. Avoid including secrets, database passwords or production API keys in a generation prompt.

Inspect content before styling

Read every heading, link and claim in the generated page. Remove fictional reviews or unsupported performance promises. Confirm that the page offers the service it describes. A button labelled “Download” should lead to a real, authorized file; a form labelled “Send” needs an actual backend and a clear success or failure state. A generated frontend alone does not create email delivery, payment processing or secure authentication.

Test the important interactions

  1. Use the page with a keyboard. Check focus visibility, menu controls and form labels.
  2. Resize the preview to a narrow phone width. Look for hidden buttons, cropped text and horizontal scrolling.
  3. Follow every link and try each primary action.
  4. Try empty and unusually long inputs. Validation should explain how to correct the problem.
  5. Check the browser console for errors and inspect external resources before deploying.

Review generated code as untrusted input

The preview is sandboxed to reduce its access to the surrounding NexoraWeb account. That isolation is a preview boundary, not a security certification for the exported code. Before hosting a generated project, inspect remote script URLs, network requests and any use of HTML insertion. Validate data on the backend, keep credentials outside public files and use authorization checks for private records.

For a learning project, understand and adapt the output yourself. Follow the rules of your course or institution and disclose assistance when required. Do not use generated documents or sites to impersonate an organization, fabricate qualifications or mislead users.

Publish with an honest scope

Use a descriptive title, one clear primary heading and text that helps the intended visitor. Add relevant internal links instead of repeating keywords. If a feature is not connected, label its limitation before sharing the page. Save a known working copy, test the deployed URL over HTTPS and check mobile behavior again after deployment. When reporting a generation issue, include the tool name, approximate time and a minimal non-sensitive prompt rather than account credentials.
