A clearer answer starts with a better conversation.

Explore a business question, understand a development problem or refine an idea through saved, contextual conversations. Review important claims before using them.

Start with useful context

Explain what you need help with, what you already know and which constraints matter. A specific question makes it easier to give a useful answer.

Keep work you can revisit

Your signed-in chats save previous questions and replies. Return to the same conversation to ask follow-up questions instead of starting from zero.

Review before relying on AI

AI can be incomplete or mistaken. Verify current claims and seek appropriate professional advice when a decision has financial, medical, legal or security consequences.

AI Consultant: asking useful questions and checking answers

How we maintain our guides

Frame a question around a real task

Start with the problem you are trying to solve, the context that changes the answer, and the kind of output you need. For a coding question, include the relevant language, framework, error, and a small reproducible example. For planning, describe the constraints and what a successful outcome would look like. A request for “the best solution” without context can produce a generic answer. Ask for assumptions to be stated and for alternatives when a decision has meaningful tradeoffs. Keep the first message focused enough that you can evaluate the response. A conversation can explore a complex problem over several turns without putting every unrelated question into one prompt.

Understand the server and conversation flow

The browser sends your message to the Laravel backend using your authenticated session. The backend checks access and request limits, then contacts the configured AI service. The service response is stored with the conversation so you can return to it later. Your initial question is part of that history, not merely a temporary input shown on screen. Subsequent messages may include relevant prior conversation context. External service availability and response time affect the experience. A visual typing indicator only means a request is in progress; it is not evidence that tokens are arriving in real time. Genuine streaming requires an upstream service that supports a documented streaming response.

Share only the information needed

Remove passwords, API keys, session cookies, private customer records, and unnecessary personal details from prompts and code samples. Replace sensitive values with clearly labeled examples that preserve the structure of the problem. If a question requires proprietary information, confirm that you are permitted to send it to an external AI service. The platform routes the request through its backend, but that does not mean the model runs entirely on your device. Consider whether a short synthetic example can demonstrate the issue. For logs, include the relevant error and surrounding context rather than uploading an entire production log containing unrelated user activity.

Evaluate answers before acting

AI responses can contain incorrect facts, incomplete reasoning, outdated assumptions, or code that does not run in your environment. Verify important claims against appropriate primary sources. For software, test proposed changes in an isolated environment and inspect their effect on existing behavior. For high-impact decisions, consult an appropriately qualified person rather than treating a generated response as a final authority. Ask follow-up questions when the answer omits a constraint or uses an unexplained assumption. A confident tone is not a measure of accuracy. Keep the original problem visible while reviewing the response so an attractive but irrelevant solution does not distract from the actual task.

Use follow-up messages to improve precision

A productive follow-up explains what was useful, what remains unclear, and what new evidence is available. Instead of saying only “it did not work,” provide the exact error and describe the step that produced it. If the answer proposes a large change, ask for a smaller test that distinguishes between possible causes. If a plan is too broad, request the next concrete action with its expected result. Keep related questions in the same conversation when previous context matters, and start a new conversation when the topic changes substantially. Clear titles help you find past work without exposing sensitive details in the conversation list.

Manage saved conversations and limits

Your saved chat history belongs to your account and should only be accessible through authorized requests. Renaming a conversation changes its label; deleting it removes the stored conversation from the application’s history. Keep independent copies of important reviewed work where appropriate, but avoid retaining sensitive prompts unnecessarily. The daily AI allowance is enforced by the server rather than by a disabled button alone. A failed service request should not consume a successful-generation credit. When the allowance is exhausted, wait for the stored reset time. Repeatedly refreshing the page or opening another tab does not legitimately create a new allowance.

Report service issues accurately

If a response fails, note the approximate time, the visible error, and whether the problem affects a new conversation or an existing one. Do not repeatedly submit the same sensitive message while troubleshooting. A temporary network error, an unavailable upstream service, and an account verification issue require different fixes. The user-facing error should explain the next step without exposing server credentials or internal stack traces. When sharing a screenshot with support, remove private message content unless it is necessary and appropriate to disclose. A useful bug report focuses on reproducible behavior and expected results, allowing the service operator to investigate without collecting more personal data than needed.

A repeatable review and support checklist

Before starting, keep an unchanged copy of your input and decide what a satisfactory result should contain. Work with a small representative example first, especially when a file has unusual formatting or a project depends on an external service. After generation, inspect the result independently of the preview. Check names, dates, numbers, page order, link destinations, and any content that another person will rely on. A success message means the operation completed; it does not certify the accuracy or suitability of every detail. Save the reviewed version with a descriptive filename and keep track of which version you shared.

If something goes wrong, note the tool name, browser, approximate time, and the last action before the error. Describe the expected result and the actual result separately. A short reproducible example is more useful than repeated submissions without context. Remove personal information from screenshots and never send passwords, API keys, or session tokens through the contact form. Use the Contact page for support and the dashboard for account settings. Review the Privacy Policy before providing sensitive material, and avoid collecting or publishing information you do not need. These habits make troubleshooting more precise and reduce accidental disclosure while you work.

Before sharing your result

Make one final pass from the recipient’s point of view. Confirm that the file opens using an ordinary viewer, the essential information is easy to find, and the chosen format matches the intended use. If the result depends on a website or external service, test it without your signed-in session. Keep any required permissions and attribution with the project. Do not describe an untested draft as a verified final result. A careful handoff explains what was checked and any limitation the recipient needs to know.

Frequently asked questions

Are answers guaranteed to be correct?

No. Verify important claims and test generated code before relying on it.

Does a typing animation prove real streaming?

No. Genuine token streaming depends on upstream support; a loading indicator alone is not a stream.
